From the Fundraising Committee Chair, Nancy Converse
We’re looking for a few more friendly faces to join the Fundraising Committee.
If you’re not quite sure what the committee does, no worries at all--I’m happy to share a little bit about how we work and the many ways you can get involved.
And just so you know, fundraising isn’t only about asking for donations.
If that’s not your comfort zone,
There are lots of other ways to help and be part of the fun.
Our committee plans and carries out RWC’s fundraising efforts each year, including this year’s two signature events:
The Holiday Home Tour and The Derby Party.
We also run seven Bingo Nights throughout the year and organize the monthly luncheon scholarship raffle.
This year, we’re raising money for two causes that mean a great deal to us:
Women Giving Back
which supports women and children in need, and,
Our Dodi Myers Scholarship Fund
Thanks to everyone’s hard work,
we increased our scholarship donations by 25% last year—and we’re hoping to make an even greater impact this year.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, August 12th in the Madison Room.

The Membership Committee is also looking for more new friendly faces to join us,
All RWC members help add to our membership when they tell new neighbors about our charitable drives, and the interesting and enjoyable luncheons we have. At our luncheons, five Membership Committee members come early to help as Greeter, work the Sign-in Table, or the Membership Table. It's fun to put names to familiar faces.
We would love to have some new Membership Committee members.
